CICCHETTERIA IN VERONA

The 'cicchetteria', a Veneto tradition of small portions of food accompanied by good wine, a bit like Spanish tapas.

Cicchetti' are the classic meat or fish snack and, to use a trendy language, can be called small food, i.e. small portions of food, to be enjoyed by taking them directly with the fingers or using a toothpick. Thus, 'cicchetti' represent a traditional snack that has become very fashionable. The establishment offering these snacks is called a 'cicchetteria'.
